KN Composite built its first reinforced plastic basins in the early 1980s. Ten years later thermoplastics became popular in industry alongside fiberglass. Today, KN Composite mainly manufactures thermoplastic tanks and basins.
Thermoplastic is lightweight, easy to shape and particularly resistant to chemicals. In addition, clean polypropylene PP and polyethylene PE can be recycled.
Reinforced plastic works better with certain chemicals, making fiberglass a more economically and ecologically sustainable solution in some applications.
Depending on the production, the machinery of industrial plants is subjected to different conditions. Various protective measures are required for challenging environments to maintain operational security and occupational safety.
KN Composite manufactures solutions that promote reliability and safety for industrial work environments. These include motor covers, shaft guards, covers, and reinforced plastic gratings.
Various guards and covers protect the machines from e.g. chemicals, increasing the safety and security of operating environments. Reinforced plastic gratings are a corrosion-resistant and durable solution for demanding industrial
sites. Security products are manufactured in-house, allowing small batches to be delivered even within one week.
Motor covers FOR ALL BRANDS
It is often forgotten that even a small engine can cause large losses to production due to dirt and overheating. KNC motor covers protect engines from splashes and level off their temperature. As a result, covers extend the life span of industrial engines. KNC motor covers are corrosion resistant and light to handle. They also do not conduct electricity.
KN Composite manufactures both vertical and horizontal motor covers for all brands, such as ABB, Siemens, VEM, SEW, and Grundfos.

REINFORCED PLASTIC GRATINGS
Fiber glass gratings are used in access and maintenance levels, on ducts and as stairs. The gratings are lightweight, corrosion resistant and non-conductive. They are a great solution for industrial sites. Quartz-coated gratings are ideal for oily and damp spaces as they are not slippery.
We are an importer of fiberglass gratings, so we have several reinforced plastic gratings with different properties in stock. We deliver the gratings pre-cut to shape and installed in place. Delivery even within the same day.

COVERS
The covers prevent splashes and chemical fumes from spreading into the environment. They can be used to prevent slipping and damage to your health caused by chemicals. The covers are built e.g. on top of mass filters and screens.

Shaft GUARDS
Shaft guards are used on production lines where the axles are located outside the machines. Shaft guards can help avoid the risk of getting caught in moving parts.
KN Composite manufactures both fixed shaft guards and hinged shaft guards. Hinged shaft guards allow an axle angle change of up to 20°.
